Hey Mark,
Great job on the transcription! Brad is one of my favorite modern-day improvisers, so I appreciate your work! I’m about to try playing along with his solo and cop some licks!
Best wishes and thanks again…

Thank you so much Mark. I am a Frenc jazz pianist amateur and I plan to play with my trio the extraordinary Mehldau’s adaptation of this song.

I love this, and plan to play it at an audition at birmingham conservatoire. Left hand voicings/ comping rhythms?

No left hand voicings or comping rhythms, it’s the RH only, I don’t want to do all of the work for you!!

Hey Mark,
thank you for your great transcription!
I have jazz-pianists as teachers for my “job” as pianist in a school-bigband (Germany)and so I know, how much work it tucks for transcriptions.

Wow- really cool transcription. Fun to follow along with Brad’s playing on “Art of the Trio.” Gave me a whole ear and head full of “stuff” sort out this week as I do my practice. I’m a huge Mehldau listener, and this helps “decode” some of what he’s doing. What sensibilities he has! Thanks again for posting this! Aloha!
